I.Introduction
Model YG(B)201E formaldehyde tester, designed on the basis of standard GB/T2912.1-2009, is used to rapid test and determine formaldehyde content of the textile. Formaldehyde is extracted from a textile sample, which is accurately weighed by the device, with water at 40℃. formaldehyde in textile dissolves in water and the extract liquor is colored with acetylacetone. As the yellow compound absorbs the light selectively, the amount of formaldehyde is then determined colorimetrically.

VI. Precautions
1. Operators should have related expertise in chemistry and operating skills.
2. Operators must wear protective gloves, masks, masks or goggles when using test reagents. If the reagent is accidentally splashed on the body, it should be immediately washed with water.
3. Children and unrelated persons are not allowed to touch the reagent in case of accidents (at your own risk).
4. The reagents used in the instrument are chemicals, which must be stored in a refrigerator at about 4℃.
5. The power supplied to the instrument must be well grounded to ensure safety.
6. All water must be distilled or water of grade 3.
7. All glassware shall be cleaned with acid pickling solution, tap water and distilled water from the chemistry laboratory before first use.
8. After each test, the colorimetric solution in the flask should be poured out in time, and then cleared with pickling solution and tap water to avoid stain and corrosion of the colorimetric flask.
9. Before inserting the colorimetric flask into the slot, the outside surface of the colorimetric flask must be wiped clean with a soft cloth or paper.
10. Before the colorimetric flask is inserted, the bubbles on the inner wall of the flask should be completely discharged.
11. Before testing, the colorimetric flask, cuvettes and light blocking cover must be inserted well in place to prevent stray light from entering so that affect the test results.
12. If any dust or foreign matter enters the flask pit, it must be cleaned or wiped clean before it is put into the pit.
13. When the test is over, turn off the power of all equipment so as to avoid accidents.
14. If any other malfunction occurs, please contact us.
VII.Safety attentions:
1.according to instrument manual, electricity facilities and water utilities should be installed in line with regulations in case of leakage of electricity and water.
2.keep away from electromagnetic interference source in case of instrument damage or test result precise.
3.Testers with heating function and strength tester must be rigidly operated according to instructions in case of being burnt or pinched.
4.Testers should not be damped, tilted or placed upside down; testers should be cleaned and cared regularly so as not to influence their service life a or the precise of next testing results.
5.Once the tester break down, power should be cut off immediately; never disassemble the tester at will at this time, please contact its manufacturer at time or dial 0577-88779894/9895.
